Choose a destination around the material or encounter you need. These guides connect the named regions of the overworld to ore deposits, crafting stations and creature records, so you can plan a trip and follow the materials back to your workshop.
Choose a region
The Devastated Lands contains Cinder Wastes and Charred Woodlands. They are distinct region records, with their own generated-resource lists and creature associations. The release files also reference copper- and iron-bearing stone in sewer-generation masks in both regions.
The Emerald Wilds contains the named regions Seedling Woods and The Fens. Both are linked to copper- and iron-bearing stone in the release records. Their creature lists differ, making the region name more useful than searching only for “Zone 1”.
The Howling Sands includes Badlands and Desolate Basin. Thorium-bearing sandstone is associated with both regions in the release data. Hyenas also have recorded spawn associations with both, making them a useful creature record to check while planning a material-gathering trip.
Boreal Reach and The Everfrost are the two named inland regions in the Whisperfrost Frontiers release catalog. Cobalt-bearing slate has recorded generation references in both. The Black Wolf has a recorded association with Boreal Reach.

Bring the trip back to your base
Start with workstations if you are missing the station needed by a recipe. The copper and iron guide connects mining to ingots; backpack upgrades and teleporters help with carrying materials and returning between established locations.
Read the map before committing to a route
Ore panels identify regions referenced by the game files. They do not provide fixed coordinates in your world. Creature lists identify recorded associations rather than guaranteed encounters. World generation can also change between versions; the world-generation overview explains the official distinction between V1 and V2.
